·   Formulating and determining the policies related to the promotion of export of industrial and mining products and technical and engineering services within the export policies of the country.

·   Formulating the necessary policies for quantitative development and qualitative improvement of rural handicraft and following up for the purpose of their protection. 

·   Supporting the activities related to the improvement of management and manpower productivity and development of  entrepreneurship in the industrial and mining sector.

·   Issuing license for establishment and operation of industrial and mining production units with the observance of environmental regulations.
